Napoleonic Sailors

This is a free set containing 15 poses of napoleonic sailors in 1:72 scale that can be used to populate a sailship model from that era.
Three of the poses are officers (2 english 1 french) the rest of the crew were dressed pretty much the same if they were American, English or French (well, there are some guys with sideburns and some with moustaches….). The pictures show the case where I reduced them to 1:200 scale with no problem because I wanted to bring a well-known heavy American Frigate to life. She now has 80 guys on board and it makes a world of a difference.

1:72 is the native scale of this free set, but if you have a resin printer, the whole point here is to print them out in exactly the scale that your ship requires ! My personal limit is 1:200 (see picture) but I’m sure you can make them even smaller !
Alfs Minis and Kits
Areas of interest are: late Roman Empire, Migrations after the collapse of the Western Empire (Langobards, Burgundians, Vandals, Goths, Huns etc), Viking age, Early Holy Roman Empire period up to and including crusades of all kinds. The figures will not just be warriors but ordinary people doing ordinary things such as farming or carpentry. Ships will not just be highly specialized warships but supply ships, etc.. Same for buildings and other structures.
Another area of interest are crews, cannon and other implements for warships from the age of sail. While they can be used to populate model ships, they can also become independent game markers for each piece of ordnance and its crew as used by a given nation during a given time-period.
