The Merkava is a family of Main Battle Tanks built for the Israel Defense Force since 1978 and has seen extensive use in the Levant. After the 1982 war in Lebanon, the initial set of mark 1 Merkavas were hastily upgraded with additional turret armour and new side skirts to protect against RPGs, as well as an internally mounted mortar, redesigned turret bustle and additional stowage bins on the rear of the hull.
This model features thorough hollowing, drain holes, and careful support placement to ensure optimal print quality. Thought has been put into making the components easy to paint, and detail is deeply recessed and exaggerated to avoid being drowned in thick paint.
Included in this download are all the files you will need to print the Mark 1 or Mark 2 versions, along with some machineguns for the crew.
Files come in supported and unsupported formats.
These models are optimised for detail at 1/100 or 15mm scale on a resin printer, but they should scale up well too.

I love this model! I am giving 5 stars for the finished product as I believe it is beyond the same offering for a well known 15mm miniatures game. The detail is fantastic and the scale is spot on. The files are well designed and proportioned, perfect for 1/100 without being too thin or too exaggerated. The pre-supported options are good but may need some slight reinforcement depending on your printer and settings. Similarly, the model is very deeply hollowed and the resulting shell is quite thin. Not an issue at all once cured and built (it is very sturdy), but it does require careful handling prior to curing. All in all I love all the NYX offerings and this one is one of the most impressive.

Very pleased with this model, I wish other vendors’ offerings were as good. I’ve printed four of these now and every one has been perfect. You can see that real thought has been put into the pieces and the supports needed.
