Martello Towers

$0.00

Two different British Martello Tower coastal defense fortifications. During the French invasion scare of the early 1800s the British constructed over a hundred of these towers across the eastern and southern coasts. The smaller one is armed with a single 24lb-36lb gun on a 360 degree rotating mounting and the larger has one cannon and two carronades. The walls are very thick and the only entrance is a door 15ft up on the side reached by a ladder that was retracted.
