This file contains the .stls for a 28mm model of the South African manufactured Marmon-Herrington Armoured Car, Mark II. These AFVs were manufactured in the thousands and were used extensively not only by South African but by other Commonwealth armies.
Here is a quick history of the vehicle:

I started with Bergman’s file, and other than upsizing it to 1/56th I did the following
1- cut off the wheels and flattened the hull bottom to improve print quality.
2- removed the spare tire and repaired the hull side. I did this to simplify the print.
3- I reworked the turret to enable optional weapon placement.
The Marmon Herrington was a bit like the Swiss Army knife of the commonwealth in the Western Desert – it was armed with just about any conceivable number of weapons affixed – including ATRs, MMGs, LMGs, captured 20mm auto cannons, 37mm and 47mm ATGS. Bizarrely the Bolt Action rules ONLY allow a set of twin MMGs to be in the turret. I haven’t been able to find a photo of a turret with twin MMGs; a lot of single MMGs, or an ATR and a a Bren, with an MMG n a pintle mount, but who am I to argue with Warlord Games? so I made the turret so that you can use the two MMGs allowed in the game, or an ATR and Bren combo in the turret and a pintle Vickers MMG.

Printed this mini at 28mm and also downscaled to 15mm and very happy.
