This 1/56 scale model depicts an M5A1 Stuart Light Tank (early production). This tank was next in the Stuart evolutionary cycle after the M5 Stuart.. This highly detailed model includes open and closed hatch turrets, open and closed hatch hulls, both early style and later style track (with stamped road wheels) a driver, bow gunner and commander figures and one variant of the Cullen hedgerow cutter. As with all Tank Nerd Creations’ designs, each model file comes with a detailed printing and instruction pamphlet using experience gained through multiple test prints to help you, the customer, be successful when printing my designs.

Possibly the most detailed 1/56th model I have printed. The level of detail is amazing- hand holds, lifting shackles, machine gun barrels, lights and their guards, there is even a hair width opening between the track segments. This may turn some people off as your printer has to be tuned in pretty well, and you have to be very careful when removing supports. The models are unsupported, but instructions are including by the designer as to best suggestions for angles and orientation for printing. While the detail is quite astounding, some people may want to look for a simpler design if your tanks get heavy wear when playing.
