Light Tank Mk VII Tetrarch
I am happy to introduce our first 3D model for wargaming and display. This model was created by my father and printed, painted and tested by me. Things should be throughoutly tested, but if you see any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or through my Facebook page Zirrian Paints.
The files in the main folder are scaled for 1:72, but there should be no problem printing it upwards to 1:35 (and perhaps beyond) as for the model, real life references were taken into account. To adapt them to other popular scales, you can rescale them according to the following measurements:
– to 1:56 (28mm): 128,57%
– to 1:48: 150%
– to 1:35: 205,71%
The filenames tell which parts need to be printed multiple times and/or mirrored. Currently the pack includes the 2pdr gun and the 2pdr gun with a Littlejohn adapter, but later the CS howitzer will be added along with openable crew hatch for the turret.
The “references” folder includes a number of 3D renders and reference images of Tetrarch tanks both in training and in service. As not every version included every supplied components, you are free to mix and match based on these reference images.
The folder also includes a “H0” subfolder which includes a beefened up and simplified version of the Tetrarch. For 1:87 and 1:100 this is the version we recommend printing.
To rescale the H0 Tetrarch tank to 1:100 (or 15mm), decrease the size of all components to 87%.
We hope you will enjoy printing and painting our very first 3d model. Please feel free to submit pictures in the above mentioned channel for your finished works.
Regarding commercial usage of these 3D models, please contact us for more details. By purchasing these files you are given rights to print it out for yourself. For other usages, please contact us.
In the rare case you would get these files by other means, if you like them, please check out our webstore in case you find other models you like and would like to support us. We are doing these models mostly for our own enjoyment as a hobby, but hey, more financial backing means we can put more time and effort into making new models.
