1:200 Grumman F-14 Tomcat
Here the bigger cat of the US Navy, does it needs introduction?
Models: F-14A in various weapon configurations (clean, AIM-9 and AIM7 and same + AIM54) and variable-sweep wing positions (20°, 45° and 68°).
Models scale 1:200 made to be printed with a FDM with 0.4 nozzle at this scale.
For other scales use the following values into your slicer:
for 1:100 use 200%
for 1:144 use 139%
for 1:200 leave 100%
for 1:285 use 70%
for 1:300 use 66%
Under 1:200 is almost mandatory a resin printer or at least a very well tuned FDM with 0.2 mm nozzle.
The variants with weapons are however very difficult to clean so use a wise supports setup.
The configuration with Phoenix missiles under the belly is foreseen in two variants: the variant “b” with separate missiles is easier because it requires less supports, more suitable for FDM printers.
Print test 1:200 mades with a FDM with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.16 mm layers.
