GFM Cloche or turret

$1.00

These observation and firing positions were a common feature on the Maginot Line. They were made of thick cast iron and served as machine gun, firing and observation positions. Cloche or bell, were fixed positions, while turrets could be rotated and in some cases retracted, though both were intended to provide maximum protection while enabling the gunner occupant to observe or fire on attacking forces. They would be accessed from below.

These models can serve as terrain pieces or represent firing positions. Included is a MG turret/cloche and an unarmed observation version. These would be suitable for interwar or WW2 games, though many are still in place.

28mm Size, though can be scaled by user to 15 and 10mm.
