This is a 28mm model of the French Medium 105mm Field Gun, Model 1913. It was used in the Great War and then again in WW2. It was employed by French and Polish armies, and subsequently captured models were employed by other Axis minor powers.
A brief history of the gun is found here:
This model offers both the spoke wooden wheels and the later pneumatic tire steel wheel.
The barrel fastens into “nubs” in the carriage which allows it to elevate; no need to glue it unless you wish.
