• This file is a rework of a file from Thingiverse (accredited below). This file allows a 28mm print of either a standard 2 1/2 ton truck or one with a mount for either a .30 MMG or a .50 HMG. It is optimized for FDM printing.


• The option to create a Quad .50 gun truck is offered when building with the flat bed M45 turret mount truck bed and the M45 turret, sold separately.

This is a rework of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2792129 This file was originally in 28mm as well, but I did the following

• Created a closed cab, as opposed to the open one of the originating file


• created a new cargo box and eliminated the group of tires behind the cab


• created a new mounting system for the separate cargo box.


• Created a new spare tire and mount


• Resigned the front bumper


• Created new axles and matching recesses for the hull (please note the axles differ and are marked as “front” and “rear” on the prints


• Created mud flaps


• Created an optional weapons mount hull and actual weapon mount that is affixed to the cab and the cargo box; this is not interchange=able; e.g. you will have to choose to print one with the weapon mounts or the regular, unarmed model.


• Created the .30 MMG and .50 HMG that mounts on same


• (Sept 2022) added a second truck box option - a flat bed, as well as the flat bed with the  M 45 Quad .50 turret (available on this site, please search  M45)

I printed at 0.1 mm layers, as always clean the support material carefully and test fit before gluing.
