British Power Boat made a number of different MGB designs before and during WW2. They also produced a number of MTBs, but those were generally refitted for service as MGBs as the war progressed.
The British Power Boat 71 foot 9 inch model served from 1942 on. It carried a variety of armaments, but this model depicts a version with a 2 pounder “pom-pom” forward, twin 20mm Oerlikons in a power operated mount aft, along with 2 twin Lewis Guns and a Holman Projector.
The BPB 71 foot 9 inch MGB displaced around 51.5 tons and had a top speed of 42 knots.
