British blockhouse

$3.75

In addition to the various standard types and their minor variants, the British countryside also has an assortment of completely unique defensive pillboxes. The largest of these is the huge blockhouse near Southminster, Essex.

The blockhouse comprises a pair of Type 22 variants connected by a short gallery. As a local command centre it has capacity for serious firepower with loopholes for four Vickers machine guns at the front and Bren and rifle loopholes around the perimeter. Additional firepower is provided by a pintle-mounted LAA Bren mounted at the rear.

In any game or display it is an imposing structure that makes for an excellent centrepiece model.

In order to aid with placing models inside, this is designed without interior blast walls, and with a removable roof. A pintle-mounted Bren gun is also supplied.

Regional and other variations are also possible, please contact us for further information or with specific requests.
