British 30 Cwt Truck - 28mm * Updated October 2021 *

This is an .stl to a 28mm model of the Chevrolet 30 Cwt. truck, used extensively by Commonwealth forces, particularly in the Western Desert theatre. This model included a pintle mounted MMG as well as a cargo cover option. This file is optimized for FDM printing.

This model is a variation on my LRDG truck. I grafted a fully enclosed cab from Bergman's 1/200th scale truck, and melded it to the LRDG truck. I created the Vickers MMG and pintle mount, and made two mounting holes in the truck's cargo box. As well I created the cargo cover for an option for you.

The rear mudflaps ) mounts in a recess in the underside of the hull.

I printed with supports, and at 0.1mm layers. Always clean the support material off carefully and test fit before gluing.
