The Khrizantema anti-tank missile entered service with the Russian armed forces in 2005, and was mounted on several platforms, including the BMP-3 that is modelled here. The 9P157-2 carries two 9M123 missiles on launch rails, which are extended from a stowed position, the radar is also stowed during transit. Missiles are re-loaded automatically by the tank destroyer from an internal magazine with 15 rounds.
The Kornet heavy anti-tank guided missile was adopted by the Russian Army back in 1994. The missile is the equivalent of the European Milan ATGW, and is as widely used in manpack, vehicle and armoured platforms. The Kornet-T on the BMP-3 chassis will be used by motorized units, while the Khrizantema by artillery units.
This offering includes the elements required to model both these vehicles in travel or firing configuration. The resin versions are essentially complete, but the launcher of the Khrizantema is modelled separately for ease of printing. The fdm versions have separate tracks, launchers and trackers for ease of printing.
