The AMX-105 Mk61 SPH was a self-propelled gun conversion of the successful French AMX-13 Light Tank (see separate model). The ordnance has a double muzzle brake, and can be adjusted from – 4 to 30′ to 66 degrees, and in azimuth 20 degrees left and right using manual controls. The ammunition is separately loaded, and includes a 16 kg HE projectile with a maximum range of 15,000 m, and an anti-tank HEAT capable of penetrating 350 mm of armour at 1000m. The normal ammunition complement is 56 projectiles, including six HEAT shells.
Two versions of the design are offered, each in two variants. The two variants are optimised for printing on resin and FDM printers respectively. The first version depicts the vehicle in travel configuration, closed up. The second shows the vehicle in firing configuration, with rear doors and top hatches open.
The FDM version consists of a main hull and two tracks. The tracks are best printed flat on the printing bed, with the outside facing away from the base. It is not easy, but possible, to remove the internal supports generated by slicers e.g. Cura for the hull of both these models, and care needs to be taken. If it is printed in a suitably coloured resin e.g. black, difficulties in painting the internals of the model can be overcome.
A machine gun is provided as a separate model for installation on the cupola if desired.
The product is offered for personal, non-commercial use. Derivative designs for personal use may be generated, but neither the original nor derivatives may be shared with others. Attribution of the design is requested should printed models be exhibited or otherwise shared. Models printed from this design or derivatives may not be sold commercially.
