The Americans were aware of the development of unguided rocket launchers in WW2 – the Russian Katyusha, the German Nebelwefer, and the British/Canadian Land Mattress. Their developments in this field included their Calliope tank mounted launchers, the T27 Xylophone launchers, as well as this model, the T66 4.5″ multi-launcher. The T66 was first employed in 1945 on both the Western theatre as well as in the Pacific theatre and later in the Korean conflict. The T66 fired the M16 fin stabilizer rocket projectile, from a bank of 24 tubes, arranged in three rows of eight tubes, each launching a 45 lbs projectile with a range of 5 kms.
When printing in FDM, the .stl should be printed on fine settings with support. After carefully cleaning the parts, attach the wheels to the carriage, then the trails to the carriage (the tow hook goes to the right side of the carriage. Once the trails are attached, glue the centre stabilizer to the carriage. Lastly, secure the tubes into the two “nubs”; these do not require gluing but can be glued if you wish.

Prints very nice, would love to see some ammo racks or loose rockets to go with
