AEC Armoured Car Mk.I
- Description
- Files
This vehicle was the first British attempt to create a wheeled vehicle with comparable armour and protection to their tanks of the time, and in fact it was designated a "wheeled tank" rather than an armoured car.
It was originally produced with a Valentine 2pdr turret. There are reports that some were later fitted with a Crusader III 6pdr turret, as was also done with the Staghound, and there was also a transitional Mk.I–Mk.II type which used the 6pdr turret for the AEC Mk.II.
Turrets for all of these variants are included.
The body of the vehicle is provided in two formats: one complete, including the wheels, and another with wheels separate.
