As I could not find any 6mm buildings specifically for Austria and Southern Germany, I designed my own. The collection contains 11 buildings: six rural houses, a chapel or small church, a large church (based on the church at Aspern), a granary (based on the granary at Essling), a traditional barn and a windmill. The windmill has no sails, as this would be too fiddly to print at this scale – I recommend using strips of thin cardboard.
If you want to more know about the style and the history of those building types, please visit my blog, where I have published a series of articles: https://wargamingraft.wordpress.com/?s=1809+terrain
The buildings were designed for napoleonic gaming, however most would fit for the period from around 1700 up to 1945. Geographically, they work for Austria and Southern Germany (Bavaria).
Scale-wise, they work from 2mm to 6mm. As people usually use reduced foot prints for big games, I recommend trying out printing them in different sizes to find the perfect fit with your other terrain. For my own 6mm games, I print them slightly reduced at 80% size.
